Africa Carbon Development Ltd (ACD) is a carbon managing entity (CME) that provides solutions for implementing Natural Resource Management (NRM) programs and Sustainable Living Initiatives (SLI) using locally available resources. We advise on climate change and global warming concepts in Agriculture, Transport, Forestry, Industries, Waste Management and Green Energy Initiatives that include Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), REDD+, Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPAs) initiation and implementation.

We guide on developing low carbon project/programmes using initiatives in line with Kenya’s Climate Change Act, National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS), Kenya National Climate Change Action Plan (KCCAP), Kenya’s Nationally Determined Commitments (NDC), National Adaptation Plan (NAP), and all other relevant policies on climate change in the country. We advise on Programmes of Activities (PoA) and Work Plans to ensure Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with monitoring and evaluation tools that include detailed methodology, justification, timelines and itemized cost quotations.

Use of Biodeposit Agro and Elixir Organic Fertilizers to implement Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) as a Programme of Activities (PoA)

CBC – in an exclusive contract with Biodeposit Africa Ltd – is currently importing Biodeposit Organic Fertilizers from Latvia, Europe for climate smart agriculture projects in East, Central and Southern Africa. This is in line with the Lusaka Declaration on May 2012 whose theme was “Mainstreaming Organic Agriculture in the African Development Agenda”
